Malicious intent

20.11.2009 - EB

In the new U.S. television series "V," reptilian visitors disguised as humans are taking over the world and using freedom-loving language to win the hearts and minds of those who are to become their victims. Some people say it is an allegory for the Obama administration. Right-wing talk-show host Rush Limbaugh said recently that he thinks Obama might intentionally be destroying the U.S. economy. Others say Limbaugh is the destroyer, but the point is the same: Some people are now looking for malicious intent in the actions of politicians and their cronies. In the Czech Republic, politicians have already been accused of intentionally destroying value at such companies as ČSA, Lesy and Czech Railways. If it becomes widely accepted that politicians are not merely lining their own pockets through bad decisions, but also intentionally damaging the country, that's when the next revolution begins
