Anonymity with Blesk

Not everyone will have a use for Blesk's new anonymous prepaid MasterCard. It will be better than cash in only a few instances. To the chagrin of mothers and fathers, it will be attractive for children who want to buy music, games or apps on their mobile phones without their parents' consent. Petty criminals or consumers of child pornography might also benefit from it, but they'll have to be careful, because the card's anonymity is quite limited. To spend more than Kč 10,000 over the three-year life of the card, registration will be necessary. A name is also often required to buy something on the internet, and Blesk even requests a name for use of card-related services. Not to worry, says Blesk's expert Michal Táborský, you can use a fake name if that suits you. It's somehow poetic that Blesk, whose own owners use an anonymous structure to disguise their true identity, advises its readers to do the same thing.
