Zeman as pro-Russian separatist
Where is the StB when you need it? If agent Ludvík Zifčák and his Independent Students' Association had organized the protest against Miloš Zeman on Mon., it might have achieved the desired result and caused a real revolution. As it stands, it's not really clear what the objective was. To force Zeman to resign? To wash his mouth out with soap for using four-letter words? Or perhaps to bring Czech foreign policy in from the cold? If Zeman's Russian-friendly foreign policy was the main sore point with protesters, shouldn't Bohuslav Sobotka have also been the target of raw eggs? His government sets foreign policy, yet he personally has gone before Parliament to call for giving Russia a veto over EU and Nato enlargement. Zeman is playing the same destabilization role for the Russians in the CR as the separatists are in Ukraine. If Sobotka were Poroshenko, he would cluster-bomb the Castle, figuratively speaking.
