Tolls and yachts

SkyToll, which is trying to unseat Kapsch as the highway toll operator in the CR, doesn't have its own Czech website. If you click on SkyToll.cz, you get an offer to go yachting in the Caribbean. Perhaps it's an inside joke among Czech oligarchs. The website is owned by Richard Mazurek of Penta, who used to work for Kapsch. He's an avid yachtsman, as is Daniel Křetínský of J&T, who was revealed by the Panama Papers as being the owner of Wonderful Yacht Holdings of the Virgin Islands. J&T is also now the official owner of SkyToll CZ, although PPF is thought to be the real force behind the company. It's useful to keep such trivia in mind when reading Týden's interview this week with Interior Min. Milan Chovanec. He made it sound as if ANO's objection to giving the toll deal to SkyToll were almost the last straw that makes coalition collaboration impossible. Chovanec really seems to want to go yachting in the Caribbean with some Czech oligarchs.
